Monica Conroy's GEICO Local Office is seeking an experienced, licensed insurance professional to join our growing team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both sales and customer service—helping clients find the right coverage while building long-term relationships that create lasting value.

Position Overview
As a Licensed Insurance Sales & Service Representative, you'll play a key role in both acquiring new clients and servicing existing accounts. You'll work with prospective customers who are actively seeking insurance solutions while also supporting current policyholders with coverage reviews, policy updates, and ongoing service needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work agency-provided leads to generate new business opportunities
  • Consult with prospective clients to identify insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
  • Quote, bind, and issue new insurance policies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication
  • Assist existing customers with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, and coverage reviews
  • Identify cross-selling and account-rounding opportunities within the existing book of business
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and clients to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Meet or exceed agency sales and retention goals
  • Educate clients on coverage options, policy features, and available discounts
  • Maintain accurate documentation and client records within agency systems
Qualifications

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
  • Previous insurance agency experience preferred
  • Sales experience within an insurance environment strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively manage both sales and service responsibilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Professional, dependable, and self-motivate
  • Comfortable using agency technology, CRM systems, and carrier platforms
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience
